PhD Students' Symposium |
We are pleased to inform that the SPS will organize the first PhD Students' Symposium on December 01-02, 2010 in the Biozentrum, Basel.
This event is organised by a group of PhD students active in the field of proteomics. It aims to foster interactions among the PhD students, while sharing exciting scientific achievements, and also to provide a social and friendly atmosphere for young scientists to get to know each other. Doctoral researchers working in the proteomics fields or related, or interested in proteomics, in Switzerland and abroad are welcome to participate.
The scientific program will be composed of poster and oral sections. The following keynote speakers have accepted our invitation to present their exciting work in the proteomics field:
- Prof. Erich Nigg, leader of the Growth and Development group from the Biozentrum;
- Dr. Paola Picotti, from the Institute of Molecular Systems Biology, Zurich;
- Prof. Albert Heck, leader of the Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry & Proteomics group, Utrecht;
